Words from the Werelord

June A.S. XVIII

It has come to my attention that some of you lycanthropes are forgetting to leave your animal behavior behind when you return to human form. I refer of course to foul and unseemly language, discourtesy, and general verbal abuse. I certainly hope that this trend will quickly reverse itself. If not, however, a few million words to the wise may be sufficient.

When I attend an SCA rumble, I expect to do all my frothing and denunciation out on the massacre field. After I come off, the time of fang and claw is over, and no word of mine would ever raise a blush on the cheeks of Maid Marian or Marie de France. Or even Aislinn Gildara Breemore.

On nights of the full moon, I have been known to bite fair maids in the neck. But even then, in moments of utter abandon, I would never allow a Word That Offends to pass my hairy lips.

My lords, if you would use foul language, please wait until the ladies are not around. Then offer it to a wolf-brother See what happens next! And ladies, if you employ unseemly words as if they were punctuation, watch out when the next full moon rolls around.
