Words from the WarlordApril A.S. XVINo doubt, by now, all of you have heard everyone's war stories from Burro Creek. (Note: Authentic war stories all begin with "No s--t, there I was…”) I would like to congratulate all of those that made the trip, and sympathize with all of those that couldn't. The battles that we won (4 out of 5) clearly showed that the most important factor in modern society warfare is Teamwork. (The 5th battle we lost because of overwhelming numbers of foemen.) A good team of 5 or 6 fighters can easily murder twice their number of unorganized fighters. Example: Chateau du Griffons and fighters from the Mists, in tile Sunday morning field battle, broke a charge of fighters from Albaran (The big guys that have knee-caps that look like breastplates.), turned the Atenveldt left flank and mopped up afterward: Kills - 15 to 20, casualties - none, members in the team for that battle – 5. Teamwork is the key! Always remember tile first two rules of warfare: * #1 Stay Alive Only after this can you start thinking about killing people. (Is that Thomas Buttesthorn I hear yelling "Stay on the hill!"? Which is, incidentally, a corollary of rule #1.) The illustrations below show only 2 of the thousands of effective and horrifying things that a good team can do to an enemy.
It only takes 2 people to start a good team and it can expand from that or stay a small skirmish unit. Find a friend and start a team. Your kingdom will thank you for it! Eric Foxworthy *Thank you, Sir Brandon.
