To Die Again

by Euriol of Lothian

to the tune "Suicide is Painless"

Around the Eric I do see
All the foes I have to beat
My lady I will honor thee
Upon the throne as my queen

But tournaments are painful
The bruises are so colorful
And I will live to die again some day

In the first round I did meet
A knight who stood tall over me
A blow too fast for me to see
and then I was upon my knees

And tournaments are painful
The bruises are so colorful
And I will live to die again some day

The next round came too soon for me
But who was that in front of me
Oh lord, not a duke, have mercy
Dear lady won't you hear my plea

That tournaments are painful
And bruises are so colorful
But I will live to die again some day
